Jessica Co started a new position in June 2022 as the Deputy Director, MMIS for the Dept of Health and Human Services with the State of NH. In this position, she will be directing all aspects of project phases for the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) initiatives. This includes development and deployment of new systems and processes, enhancement and defect correction of existing systems, database information management, decision support systems, and related interfaces. Also responsible for coordinating HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards implementations with all designated standards areas to assure systems comply with Federal and State requirements.Jessica was the IT Lead at the New Hampshire Liquor Commission for 6+ years (2016-2022). Her responsibilities include developing, planning, budgeting and implementing information technology solutions, supervises assigned professional staff, and manages daily operations. Jessica has over 2 decades of progressive IT experience and increased responsibilities; from code development, system analysis, training, consulting, project management to IT management. She worked on a cloud based project which utilizes Microsoft technologies : Azure & Dynamics 365 - Finance Operations, Retail and CRM, O365, and BI (Business Intelligence). Prior to joining the commission, she worked in the multinational, manufacturing sector for 21 years. Her experience includes IT automation of manufacturing processes, ERP, JIT manufacturing, adhering to ISO/TS16949 and JSOX standards, IT Governance, IT Audit, Vendor and IT Asset Management. She also led a team in expanding IT services at several overseas locations. Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics (Major in Computer Science) from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines as well as a Master in Business Administration majoring in Decision Support Systems and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Southern NH University, New Hampshire, USA.
