Designed and implemented highly available applications and databases utilizing storage area network, Sunfire 15K and 12K enterprise servers, and Veritas Cluster Server. Administered enterprise data warehouse consisting of Sunfire 6800 and 20 TB of SAN attached storage. Responsible for acquisition and installation of HP 9000 platform. Interface with vendors and technical personnel from Hewlett Packard, EMC, Sun Microsystems and various consulting firms for hardware purchasing and support needs.
