I am particularly interested in expert processes and the application of AI technologies to create efficient and effective workflow for users.* My projects include automated text analysis (with statistical topic modeling); sentiment analysis (with deep learning); computer-aided translation (with statistical machine translation); and semantic search engines (with information extraction).* I have published in top-tier venues in human-computer interaction, machine learning, and natural language processing, and co-authored work in various disciplines including the social sciences and genetics research.
