    As IT Manager, I was responsible for the budgeting, business and department process review, configuration of servers for internal use and distribution to clients, and desktop support. I was frequently invited to provide technical insight on pre-sales calls and presentations. It was a very "hands on" position with day-to-day interaction with clients and upper management. I was directly responsible for maintaining Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, Itanium2 (64-bit) server technology, SharePoint Portal Server, Microsoft Office/Project/Visio, and SQL Server 2000. The three-member IT Department managed over 35 server farms with more than 2000 users. Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing "urgent" support issues, planning future growth and implementing processes and procedures were routine tasks. One of my responsibilities was managing the move of our offices from Blue Springs to Lees Summit. During the move, we transitioned to a new IP subnet, switched ISPs, installed a new VOIP telephony solution, and built a new server room. I was also responsible for procuring cabling (data), office movers, and facilitating the move with our staff. We accomplished this with only one hour of email/critical systems downtime.

This was completed in conjunction with a migration of Microsoft Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000. My responsibility was to manage the project and maintain 100% uptime during business hours.
