Hello and Thanks for the glance! - Inspired by Darwin's Diary on the HMS Beagler, I set out to be some version of him. Along the way, I served as an Officer in the US Navy, had tours of Duty in Afghanistan, Japan, Italy, lived and studied in an off the beat place in China, earned my MBA from a now mostly defunct but previously highly rated international business school (Thunderbird) - and finally, found my passion in early stage tech innovation.As one of the first people to go through a "coding bootcamp" Dev Bootcamp circa 2012, I then embarked on a 10 year odyssey into the world of early stage full stack engineering. I now lead a team, we help founders avoid technical pitfalls while building awesome web + mobile products. Some notable support involve working with founding teams at Brightwheel, DevBootcamp, Happilabs, FogBender, ThreadFlip, Cloud City Development, Root System, TotSquad, TeamedUp, Meeko Health, Falcon Partners and a bunch of others.Currently, my team builds in the 0-1 stage and I help founders do things like match the build to sales cycle, recruit, develop a "just use postgres" mentality and integrate all new ai tech into their business. I also maintain relationships with many investors and act as an angel scout.Outside of work, I love my family, lift kettle bells and ride bikes. I live in West Austin hills area, always happy to grab coffee and find some serendipity.
