Carried out research and development activities in the university’s Department of Electronics and Telecommunications (DET). Set up an inventory database in SQL Server to manage electronics components in DET’s warehouse. Designed recursion strategies to achieve complex objectives while maintaining a profile of simplicity, practicality, and low cost. Coordinated the Electronic area during their Team DIANA project for the Google Lunar X-Prize competition. The project consisted of a rover design for exploration on the lunar surface. Developed the prediction, prevention, and correction algorithms for most of the system errors with MATLAB, Simulink, C, and C++. Furthermore, designed an appropriate Java interface to support the guidance, control, and monitoring of the system. Wrote various unit tests for the system. Additionally, worked on the university’s ARAMIS project. This project involved the design of a modular and standardized platform for low-cost microsatellites, as well as applications for low-cost space missions. Created the analog hardware design with LabVIEW and PSpice. Handled the development of VHDL firmware.
