"Nature is the poetics of change." — john clayton gehmanI am a graduating Master of Divinity (M.Div.) candidate from the Harvard Divinity School, open to purposeful work that fosters meaningful transformation. My studies in human consciousness, psychic transformation, and change have empowered me to develop innovative strategies that transform the self and consciousness, enabling more effective responses to contemporary challenges in the United States and the world.With a background in Government and Politics from Boston College, I bring extensive research experience in political violence and technology security policy. As a critical and humane problem solver, I provide generative, sustainable solutions to pressing issues such as climate catastrophe and systemic racism, with a focus on healing justice, community rebuilding, and heart illumination in human intelligence.I am the founder and director of The Heart of Nature, a program dedicated to exploring “the philosophy of the illuminated heart.” This framework examines human transformation in relation to nature, sustainability, and change activation. Central to this work is the concept of “moral religion,” which we explore as a guiding principle for personal and collective psychic transformation.I am committed to inspiring collective action and driving purposeful, transformative change. My interdisciplinary background in philosophy, mysticism, and metaethics at Harvard, alongside my political and policy experience from Boston College, provides me with a unique perspective on addressing the complexities and insecurities of the 21st century.
