Daily communication with global contacts and continued improvement to planning parameters and levels are a key part in my role.My duties also include work with the Promega Helix program. Responsibilities include:• Purchase from over 30 vendors for two locations• Ensure materials are available according to manufacturing schedule• Manage inventory and purchasing levels for over 4500 items• Plan production and manage inventory for gearbox repair division• Act as main plant contact for new product manufacturing project

Responsibilities included:- Providing logistical support to Project Managers, Material Managers, and Order Administrators.- Coordinating freight from plant locations to customers, project sites, and warehouses.- Managing relationships with freight carriers, while obtaining rate quotes, awarding shipments, and managing freight invoices.
