Jose was in the consumer marketing organization at Lexmark; I was the head of corporate communications. I left Lexmark to join FPL in 2008. When we had the opportunity to bring Jose onto the team at FPL in 2011, I was thrilled because he very quickly applied the lessons from his background in consumer packaged goods and technology to raise our game in a meaningful way.
