I am an experienced leader with a gift for managing people and projects. Throughout my career, I’ve had the good fortune to work with some remarkable teams, large and small, as well as many amazing individuals including staff, contract, and volunteer personnel. Whether I’m managing two departments for Pearson, building a newsroom for an online publisher like Sift or keeping the financial and membership records up to date for a growing congregation, my goal is to help organizations and individuals grow and succeed.I’m also a talented writer and content creator. My byline has appeared in numerous publications and websites ranging from Learning Through History, Budget Travel, and Renaissance Magazines to the Farmer's Almanac and the Nebraska City News Press. An innovative problem-solver, I co-authored the first multimedia online help system for property management that was rolled out to Holiday Inns around the globe and a new software change control tracking system for Bechtel. These innovations only came about because I strive to understand how people at every level do their jobs, learn what they need to do them efficiently, and discover how I can help remove roadblocks or hurdles so they can shine.I love discovering what excites others and sharing their stories with the world through a variety of social media platforms. Today, I help manage the social media accounts for All Saints Episcopal Church, the largest parish (church community) in the Diocese of Nebraska. I am also the Chair of the Faith Leaders chapter for Defense of Democracy, a national nonprofit organization supporting public schools and libraries.
