Responsibilities included managing over 20 entities to ensure that monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly/annual lodgements for a wide range of tax (GST/PAYGW/Payroll Tax/FBT/Payroll/Superannuation/ASIC) were both compliant and lodged on a timely basis, acting as virtual financial controller/tax compliance officer to ensure that clients headquartered overseas understand Australian & New Zealand compliance obligations and continues to abide by them and working with different stakeholders (head office/finance/audit) within multi-national corporations to perform the above tasks.Other responsibilities included training and development of junior employees and internal practice process & procedure improvement projects.

Responsibilities included preparation of tax returns for a multitude of clients including individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, self-managed superannuation funds. Also responsible for the preparation of additional Financial Statements, Year End Journal Entries, Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements, Payroll Tax, Superannuation Contribution Reports and Fringe Benefits Tax returns for clients.

Responsible for preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and small companies in accordance to the statutory requirements in Australia. Preparation of special purpose financial statements for the abovementioned entities.Preparation of corporate compliance paperwork for clients including ASIC forms, board minutes & resolutions.

Two year part-time internship whilst completing university studyies with duties including tax return preparation, tax compliance research, customer briefing documentation, journal entries, invoicing, reconciliations and general administration.
