Performs analysis to support andinform senior leader decision making on Department of Defense policies, service force structuremix, and modernization priorities. Leads diverse and inclusive teams that conduct studies, targeted analyses, and design and execute wargames supporting evaluation of emerging service and joint warfighting concepts. Areas of research include: modernization assessment, future concept development, joint operations analysis, multi-domain operations, personnel management, and capability integration. Routinely presents results to senior leaders across DoD.

Chief of the Operations Analysis Division at the Center for Army Analysis. Responsible for the leadership, supervision, technical direction and mentorship of a team of operations research analysts that provide a variety of analytical support including: data analysis, simulation, assessment framework development, data visualizations / analytic tool development, wargames, and systems analysis. Ensures that the analytic products provided to forward deployed commands, HQDA, COCOMs, ASCCs, and various DoD agencies are cogent, timely, and provide valuable solutions to client problems.

Senior Operations Research Analyst for the NATO Special Operations Component Command. Routinely called upon and conducted quick-turn, logical, rigorous analysis that informed the Commander, US and NATO mission in Afghanistan, on the performance of US and Afghan special operations forces.

Program Director for the Statistics education in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at West Point. Led 26 faculty that educated over 1100 students each year and ensured the program exceeded requirements for accreditation. Published original methodological research in highly regarded journals in the statistics and operations research communities including Annals of Applied Statistics, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society – Series C, Military Operations Research, and the American Journal of Epidemiology.

Served as an Operations Research analyst at the Center for Army Analysis and the Combined Security Transition Command - Afghanistan. Organized, led, and presented analysis to senior executives that identified vulnerabilities and prioritized allocation of protective equipment for the Afghan National Defense forces, a $5B investment. Technical lead for national surveys on Afghan public perceptions of NATO and Afghan operational forces and governance.
