Dr. Charley transitioned to the Intel Corporation in early 2001 as a Senior Environmental Engineer, where he was quickly promoted to Environmental Manager for California, Washington and Utah operations. Responsibilities also included revision of the Corporate EMS Manual to incorporate Intel's environmental BKMs into an auditable format for third-party auditors. In late 2005, he additionally became the Health and Safety Manager for the Intel Santa Clara Semiconductor Fab. In Summer of 2006, Jim became a member of the Intel Global Environmental Operations staff in charge of ISO14001 programs for the company.
