I am a student at UMass Amherst and majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics.I am from Seoul, South Korea, but I have been studying in the U.S since when I freshman in high school, Washington Academy, ME. I started investing when I was in 8th grade. My father opened an investing account for me. First, I invested in some driverless company’s stocks, and I got 20% percent of profit. I was very excited to earn money from stocks. During the economic recession of 2021, it was such a great opportunity to buy stocks that are undervalued. By investing in companies like Apple and Delta during their undervalued years, I was able to generate high profits when the market recovered from economic recession.My research skills proved when I anticipated the significant market move involving the merger between Lucid and CCIV (Churchill Capital Corp IV) in July 2021. Through my analysis, I found out CCIV and Lucid had been supported by the same fund. Recognizing the potential for a merger, I made an investment decision that proved to be accurate.These experiences that I have pursue a career as a financial analyst. I am driven by a desire to leverage my analytical skills and market insights to make informed investment decisions and contribute to the success of companies in finance.
