The company also launched ArtistRising.com, an online community of independent and emerging artists, which has over 70,000+ artist members and offers over 400,000+ pieces of original art for purchase. In 2005, Art.com merged with AllPosters.com, whose funding included $28 million from Benchmark Capital. This was also the year the company launched its first catalog (14 million in circulation annually), purchased the German-based www.poster.de, and launched European-specific sites in England, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Since then, Art.com has grown through acquisition, and has multiple sub-brands including Zenfolio and Poster Revolution. The company has 24 country-specific websites across five continents, two manufacturing and distributing facilities in the US and the Netherlands, two apps (ArtCircles and Photos to Art), and has enjoyed successful partnerships with Condé Nast, Pottery Barn, and Target. It continues to be featured in publications such as New York Times, People, Marie Claire, and The Huffington Post.

Primary seed investor in Mixbook.com. With over $11 million in funding success, Mixbook continues to grow as a major online and mobile photobook company. In 2011, Mixbook acquired the online, flash-based multimedia scrapbook editor, Scrapblog. In 2012, Mixbook acquired the mobile communication startup, Yobongo.Mixbook.com earned national success and continues to be featured in many national broadcasts and publications such as USA Today, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Bloomberg TV, and Yahoo. Most recently, Mixbook claimed a spot on Forbes’ 2013 list of “America’s Most Promising Companies.” Along with its financial success, Josh’s involvement with Mixbook exemplifies his talent in discovering up-and-coming entrepreneurs.
