I cut my teeth in the ad world working on Madison Avenue (think Mad Men but way less smoke in the office). I initially set my sights on being a “creative” –– the perfect opportunity to blend my dual economics and fine art degrees. But, I quickly realized that being an account man was more to my liking.Along the way I became General Manager at FCB and then President of a regional DDB office. 20 years later I’m anything but a traditional ad executive, and after starting my own agency, Hey, I’m as comfortable with direct marketing as I am with PR or digital.Hey, is a performance creative agency where artistry and data science work together to deliver growth for technology brands. We’ve partnered closely with brands like Microsoft, Reviver, HP and Keysight Technologies. As agency leader, I help support a stellar team of creative strategists and technologists, and work directly with each and everyone of our clients to help them create work that strikes a creative chord and makes a meaningful impact on revenue. In my free time I enjoy spending time on San Juan Island with my wife and girls when they can still make it now that they’re adults. I enjoy cooking because it’s one of the few ways for me to do something and actually see a result almost immediately. I’m also a competitive cyclist riding more than 6000 miles/year.
