Jesus joined Centro Legal de la Raza (Centro) as Communications Manager, assuming various roles until named Director of Development on December 2022. He is a multi faceted and skilled development professional, fundraising millions to support the organization. He has project managed annual reports, impact reports; planned fundraising events including galas, board cocktail receptions (fund the need), including DC largest Latinx pride party to raise funds for the LGBT community. He has organized sponsored graduations, speaker panels, and national conferences. Jesus graduated from the University of California Berkeley in 2013 with a degree in Social Welfare. He is the proud son of two hard working immigrant field-workers. Through his activism for immigrant and LGBTQ rights, Jesus stands firm in fighting for what is right. Today he continues to stand for social justice and is proud to be of service at Centro Legal de la Raza.
