In 2011, I enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program. I graduated from this program in the spring of 2015 as Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology.I was hired in June 2013 at Concurrent Technologies Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer-Intern. After graduation, I began work there as a full-time Assistant Mechanical Engineer in May of 2015. In May of 2016, I took a position as Mechanical Engineer at Brookville Equipment Corporation. I attained the title of Senior Mechanical Engineer at BEC in 2022.Throughout my work experience and education I have gained skills in computer modeling and simulation; prototype design, creation, and testing; and aspects of project management, in addition to the requisite technical knowledge which accompanies an engineering degree. I have utilized various modeling programs including PTC Creo, Solid Edge, and Solidworks, simulation programs including ANSYS and Abaqus, and programming tools, such as Matlab and LabView.I hope to continue to develop my stable of professional tools and skills, and further optimize the processes by which I design and solve problems.
