-Assisting Prof. Brady Williamson with the instruction and management for Courts and Constitutions, a Fall 2023 class offered by the UC Berkeley Political Science Department.-Teaching 58 students in two 1-hour discussion sections every Friday, with the goal of helping students grasp both the technical details of how courts work and larger theoretical concepts of constitutional law.

- Researched complex legal issues (including on NEPA and CEQA) and wrote up the findings in a variety of legal formats, including formal memos, template demand letters, and sections of a comment letter submitted to a federal agency.- Conducted legal research and document review for a community partner organization working to oppose a corporate polluter. - Authored a memo on gaps in federal carbon capture regulations. - Supported attorneys with tasks for active cases.

- With the Santa Rita Jail Hotline (2021-2023), I answered legal hotline calls from people incarcerated in Alameda County’s Santa Rita Jail. I also drafted objections for incarcerated people opposing the Babu v. Ahern class action settlement in 2021. - With the Prisoner Advocacy Network (from 2018-2020), I corresponded with incarcerated people in the California Department of Corrections about rights violations they are facing and draft legal letters on their behalf. I also edited and format policy guides, demand letters to legislators, and other outward-facing documents from PAN, including COVID-19 release self-help litigation guides.

- Researched and wrote a 117-page manual to assist disproportionately polluted communities with navigating the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process for Fresno’s Leadership Council for Justice & Accountability.- Completed Environmental Law Clinic coursework on environmental law, community lawyering, policy advocacy, and more.

-Wrote and argued motions to suppress evidence, motions in limine, and three successful motions for judicial diversion. - Served as second chair in two misdemeanor trials. - Researched legal issues, reviewed discovery, and wrote California Racial Justice Act motions for felony cases. - Supported misdemeanor attorneys with arraigning clients.

-Coordinated hundreds of Bay Area youth organizing for a federal Green New Deal. Supported initiatives from dozens of other Bay Area organizations pushing for policies that support people, not profits.-Lead the strategy for all of the Sunrise Bay Area hub's external messaging, including developing social media campaigns, editing videos, and coordinating with media for news coverage of actions.-Support team members by hosting meetings, holding trainings on storytelling strategies, and developing leaders.-Launched the hub's Medium page and YouTube channel.

- Created a laptop-lending library for low-income Head Start families to ensure all pre-K students had access to online learning during Covid-19 pandemic. - Wrote a monthly newsletter for Oakland residents on City services.

I led the formation and development of a print magazine covering the American hemp industry.I hired a small staff of part-time contractors with a tiny personnel budget and built a network of contributors on a shoestring budget. I edited, wrote articles for, commissioned and published print magazines and weekly web content. I expanded our distribution into retailers like Whole Foods (and Berkeley Bowl!), built up our subscriber base and organically grew our monthly web readers. (From October 2017- October 2018, I was the managing editor of HEMP.)

I wrote news stories for the website and features for print. I supported the Senior Editor in editing the print magazine (published 6x/year), which included coordinating with freelancers and staff writers, commissioning art, selecting covers, writing support content and editing every word in the magazine. I also edited website articles, which included coordinating with staff writers, writing headlines, and optimizing for search engine results.In my capacity as Associate Editor, I also attended industry conferences, spoke on panels and moderated a panel at Cannabis Now's SXSW event in 2019.

I helped edit, fact-check and contribute research to investigative features, including an in-depth report on how American-backed militia fighters were committing atrocities in Afghanistan and an expose on how corporate influence in the EPA influenced its decision to approve the harmful chemical glyphosate.
