Developing innovative secure client-server communications, streaming media and content delivery solutions utilizing Microsoft .NET, Silverlight, Windows Phone and Microsoft’s Windows Azure Cloud Services and Content Delivery Network.

Designed, built, managed and documented scalable high availability multi-tiered web hosting (clustered ASP & JSP) and database (clustered MsSQL) services for an interactive online learning platform with streaming media. Designed and built a reliable in-house datacenter for IT services. Moved and upgraded the facilities on three occasions. Developed automation applications, customer portals, dashboards and sales tools. Advised in-house product development group on security, performance and scalability issues. Collaborated on numerous LMS integrations, security audits and service contract negotiations (technical writing) with Fortune 500, banking and U.S. Government customers.

Developed web applications for executive search and staffing services. Wrote a scalable cloud service technology proposal and cost analysis for parent company Newgold, Inc.'s entry into web hosting and Internet startup incubation.

Designed, built, developed and managed web hosting and streaming media services for several divisions. Provided in-house live internet streaming, on-demand video encoding and commerce platform with SAP integration for several satellite television networks in partnership with Audionet/Broadcast.com and RealNetworks, Inc. Built out new custom facility and moved all services. Provided ISDN dial-up services for remote sales people and convention support. Developed ASP based commerce websites with interactive training content and on-line testing for continuing education credit and certification courses for law enforcement, medical, long-term care, fire-emergency, industrial and automotive sectors. Developed custom Java based LMS and CMS system in partnership with Webridge, Inc. layered on top of their ORDBMS extranet portal system.

Designed, developed and managed web hosting services and general IT for technical publishing. Contracted out to Unicomp Technologies International to manage merger and integration of Connect! On-Line services and customers with Unicomp's business ISP services at an all new facility.

Merged 3 popular Dallas area FIDONet, WWIVNet and UUCP linked multiline BBS services into a single service with door access to Linux based shell and SLIP internet connections. Installed and managed high speed internet uplinks and modem banks to provide dial-up internet services. Extended Livingston RADIUS authentication and accounting service to support dial-in gateway to PPP, SLIP, Telnet and BBS login across a LAN. Extended the Linux kernel network and file system drivers to support multi-homing with a single Ethernet adapter and secure Virtual Private Servers. Developed free DOS and Windows setup floppy with Winsock and internet applications for distribution to current and prospective customers. Extended NCSA and Apache's HTTP servers to support single-instance multi-tenant web hosting. Extended Apache HTTP to support the first U.S. legal HTTPS implementation with SSLeay (now OpenSSL) and RSAREF. Developed database integrated websites for numerous customers. Developed an extensive service monitoring infrastructure with synthesized PA voice announcements and pager dial-out to alert staff members of system status and failures.

Developed and operated a custom multi-line BBS system loosely modeled on WWIV but written entirely from scratch in C and Assembler for DOS Protected Mode with custom communications drivers, preemptive multitasking, file transfer protocols and a database system. Developed an ANSI-like extension and terminal emulator client for real-time vector graphics and MIDI audio over dialup connections. Developed custom WWIVNet and UUCP protocol support and integrated OPUS FIDONet support.
