Jason’s professional career in the photography and video world began in college when taking on gigs as a Production Assistant, Camera Operator, or wherever he could get some professional experience. During his final two years in college, he worked for the Public Relations office of Kutztown University where he captured events and editorial content. He also held internships at the local professional hockey team, the Reading Royals, producing and editing videos from scoreboard/video wall content to commercials. Jason then moved on for another internship with Upstage Video, now Choice.Live. Jason got hired by Upstage Video where he worked for 1 year, while freelancing in his off time.After a year at Upstage Video, Jason left to work on a freelance basis in and around Reading, PA. After working as a Photograoher and Videographer around Reading for a few years, Jason moved to Philadelphia and began working in the film and commercial production industry. The precise nature and drive to make great, quality media with purpose in this setting was very attractive to Jason, and he set out to become very well versed in lighting. He worked with Federal Grip Company very closely and worked his way from being a Production Assistant to a Grip, Key Grip, and Gaffer.In 2021, Jason has moved to Frederick, Maryland and is using his lighting skills and on set experience in pursuing his career as a commercial photographer and director of photography. He has established Cline Visual LLC and has opened Lockhouse Studios as the first rentable studio space in Frederick optimized for high level production.
