I am a recent magna cum laude graduate from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor's of Business Administration with a major in Business Information Technology. Additionally, I have an Associates of Applied Science Degree with cum laude distinction from Southwest Tennessee Community College. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah's Eccles School of Business where I am thrilled to increase my knowledge and further my education in business administration.I pride myself on the knowledge I've pursued through schooling and through my own experiences. Over the last two years, I have gained both classroom and self-taught knowledge in the fields of information technology and coding. I love to learn and to teach myself as a way to challenge myself to grow past my areas of comfort. This is best demonstrated by teaching myself multiple musical instruments and recording MIDI software. Additionally, I have developed a proficient understanding of coding in Java, Python, and HTML5 through college classes and have also expounded on those college foundations in my spare time. I also have a fundamental understanding of the coding language C++.Having found over half a decade of success as a paralegal in the legal industry, I am now in the process of transitioning into a career within the tech industry that is aligned with the bachelor's degree I worked so hard to obtain. I am excited about the change and burgeoning opportunity that presents itself with such a significant career change into an area of knowledge I have grown to enjoy throughout my life and have found a deeper appreciation for during my college years I am excited to build upon the skills I have developed over my career and education as well as acquire new ones as I transition from one industry to another. My job experience is varied, but meaningful. Through multiple different avenues of work, I have learned the importance of work ethic, teamwork, communication, interpersonal skills, customer services, and, mostly importantly, the need to love what you do and find meaning in it. I strive to find a workplace that can provide meaningful satisfied work that challenges me as well as build on my previous experiences and fortifies my skill sets. I look forward to hearing from you.
