The "Installed Sales" of efficient water heaters (product and installation) is the fastest growing sales segment for residential water heaters in North America. This sales model is most visible with monikers like:"Do-it-for-me," "Ask About Installation," "Yes, We Install This Item," "Installation Guaranteed," etc. Water heating is the second largest consumption of energy in the residence and a highly effective area to impact carbon emission reductions.The Lowe's program was successful in eliminating product returns and theft issues while providing a 97% customer satisfaction result. The sales model relied on an extremely high level of customer service, efficiency rebates, and ROI schedules within five to seven years.
