HealthLink provides a computer communications system that links the information technology systems of more than 15,500 medical organisations across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Island nations. Each year, over 100 million pieces of patient and clinical information are exchanged using the HealthLink system. In Australia, HealthLink is the largest provider of secure hospital clinical messaging exchange, including the sending and receiving of pathology and radiology results, discharge summaries, and eReferrals with General Practices.
