Judith Negron is a criminal justice reform advocate with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and over 25 years experience as an educator, mentor, and counselor to a diverse population in the mental health sector. As a formerly incarcerated individual, she has dedicated her freedom to advocate for those that have been directly and indirectly impacted by the criminal justice system, assisting in the pathways to fairness and equality in their future. Founder and CEO of The Freedom Glow, LLC, her mission is to empower others and guide them upon their reentry process; and her passion is to give a voice to those left behind, through education, mentorship and tutoring. Judith is also a Managing Partner at Reentry Innovations, the Unlock Higher Education Coalition Policy Team Lead and The Ladies of Hope Ministries Partnership Lead. She is an Uplift and Prison-to-Professionals scholar and mentor, and the Speaker’s Bureau member. She is a graduate of the JustLeadershipUSA Emerging Leaders and LwC fellow, The LOHM Pathways for Equity Fellow and is the Epic Ambassador for Florida; a DreamCorps Justice Empathy Cohort alumni and current Women Organizing for Justice & Opportunity cohort participant. Judith sits on the Board of Directors for Evolution Reentry and Exchange for Change.
