As Outreach Coordinator at Garland County Library, I coordinate all aspects of the GCL Bookmobile operations. I engage with community partners regarding visits, interact with the public by providing education about library services, GCL's offerings, and collaborate with GCL librarians to develop the circulating collection. In addition to bookmobile operations (including the dirty work like sweeping, mopping, washing it), I help GCL provision remote services, including establishing GCL's Free Delivery procedures, training and offering troubleshooting for GCL's Remote Locker service, and working with circulation and administrative staff in optimizing reserved item routing.I am enrolled in my last semester of the Master of Science in Library Science program at University of North Texas, and I completed my Graduate Academic Certificate in Advanced Management of Libraries and Information Agencies in May 2024. I have insight in information resource evaluation, management of personnel, budgeting, public library administration, libraries in the context of the communities they serve, and parent agencies and organizations such as local government.
