I live life with an Agile mindset. I am a huge proponent of Scrum and have been practicing it for years. In my role as a Senior Developer, I have worked with talented colleagues on cross-functional Information Technology & Marketing teams, and their clients. I have over 18 years of experience working in IT. This includes early roles in technical support, computer assembly, configuration, deployments, control systems, and more. I have been focused on Software Development for the past 12 years. My passion has been in building accessible web experiences while empowering others to manage complex systems through custom Umbraco CMS development.Some of my strengths include: Umbraco CMS, Salesforce Development, Scrum, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, Bootstrap, Accessibility (WCAG), Responsive Design, .Net, C#, Visual Studio, SQL.I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in physics from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Professional Certificate in Leadership from Western University. I am also an Umbraco Certified developer and a Certified Scrum Master. I have led the adoption of both Umbraco and Scrum over the course of my career.Outside of work, I can be found tinkering with pinball machines, performing home renovations, fine-tuning audio/video equipment, and reading up on the latest technology, science and physics discoveries. I love taking on new challenges, expanding my knowledge, and helping others wherever I can.
