I found a passion for regenerative agriculture after working in the food industry, baking bread. Starting my agricultural education with a permaculture design course, I found a job at a local small (~2 acre) market garden farm and worked there two years before deciding to go back to school to pursue an education in agriculture. I received my Bachelors in agronomy in May 2022, and plan on graduating with my Masters in Agricultural Biology in December 2024. I am passionate about regenerative agriculture, Integrated Pest Management, biological life in the soil and any approach that takes a holistic ecological mindset to food production such as agroforestry, intercropping and the use of cover crops. I believe we can produce quality food through preventative biological approaches rather than reactive chemical approaches, reducing input costs and improving profitability for farmers.
