While working at Whole Foods my definition for good work ethic was constantly redefined. When I first started this position I thought I was a great worker, but in reality I wasn't as good as I thought. As I continued to learn and receive feedback from my manager and peers. I found myself constantly improving my value as a team member. The process of improving and learning is what I find enjoyable with this job. I continue to try my best and be a better version of yesterday.

Through my internship at Ontoadptive; I grew a lot as a developer, a lead, and a person. When I first started my internship I had little experience in web development, the agile process, and leading a team. Through the internship I learned of the importance of the agile process and how to apply it to being a full stack developer. The most enjoyable experience was collaborating with my team and overcoming challenging problems.

While working at Pier 1 I was able to leverage my creative and problem-solving skills. When engaging with customers about home decor I assisted them in finding products that would finalize their home decor process. Additionally, I looked forward to opportunities to construct the various large furniture pieces as it allowed me to utilize my problem-solving skills.

During my employment at Mariano's, I leveraged my experience in customer service to provide superb service to the customers. Managing inventory of expiring products, I created a fresh and clean service case to maximize sales. After being promoted to night lead I directed new employees on Mariano's policy and procedures. With my experience at Mariano's I enjoyed empowering others which lead to theirs and my success.

Through my work experience at GNC, I learned about their diverse product selection and how to leverage the advantages of each product to increase sales and basket sizes. I enjoyed working at GNC because it allowed me to help others through their fitness and health needs. Lastly, I operated independently within the store and would open and closes the store as needed.

While working at UIC Recreational Center, I was able to move up quickly and learn about the various roles throughout the gym. I was trained to be a supervisor at the gym, but left to pursue other employment opportunities. In my various roles, I learned how to quickly adapt to new positions and excel within those roles.

Sunset Foods was my first job and as a result I learned a lot about the workforce and customer service. I was taught how to put the needs of customers above all. Reflecting on this experience and the customer service focus, it enable to me excel through my other job and carry a friendly and kind demeanor.
