About Jo Lewis
As a passionate communicator, I love the challenge of helping the public and school children discover the wonder of science and technology. In my previous role I published a framework for evaluating the large scale Public Engagement programme, to streamline systems to report, improve and celebrate our programme. I developed ways to ensure our public engagement is of consistent high quality across our different sites and many different types of events and activities that our public engagement team and our scientists and engineers deliver every week.With ESS build in full swing I am working on the best ways to engage the citizens and communities of Sweden and Denmark to take pride in the giant new facility being built on their doorstep.
