The AOC 15/50 has undergone testing and certification internationally and through the U.S. government’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).- Developed an international sales and distribution network in markets such as the US, UK, Caribbean, Italy, Greece, Spain, Turkey and India to facilitate sales for the AOC 15/50, Seaforth’s 50kw wind turbine. During the 1990’s, DMR Atlantic’s office successfully grew it’s business by 300% with staff reaching 300 and revenues in excess of $28M, becoming the highest grossing business unit in the Canadian Division of DMR. Mr. Simon was a strong contributor during this period of growth holding roles both in the Business Development and Consulting area of the company.Client Executive, Business Solution Centre Services - Developed and executed the business development strategy for DMR’s Business Solution Centers (BSC’s). The BSC’s focused on leveraging Atlantic Canada’s skilled employee base and relatively low cost of living to win large systems development and integration projects abroad which would be completed in Atlantic Canada. - Worked with the US and Canadian Business Units of DMR to qualify opportunities, develop service solutions, and the subsequent selling of those solutions to clients throughout North America. The business objective of AGS was to leverage its utility experience into new business opportunities that would return new revenues to both British Gas and DMR as the prime shareholders.
