Part of the Centris plan to grow up includes a migration of the tech stack to newer technologies like .NET Core, Angular, Vue.js and moving from an on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft Azure. I had the opportunity to start a role as an Applications Architect and some of the tasks I’ve been doing include:• Migration of applications from on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft Azure• Applications upgrade from .NET Framework to .NET Core• Migration of Microsoft CRM 3.0 (2005) to Microsoft Dynamics 365• Setup of Azure DevOps pipelines and releases• Setup of common tools like NuGet packages to reuse in at least 50 different applications• Integration/synchronization between different data sources: Oracle, SQL Server, Blob and Table Storages, etc.• Monitoring of applications: introduction to Application Insights to replace an in-house solution• Integration with Moneris (payment processing)
