i. Manages SE Cavite 3 Site as well as act as the OIC of PDC Site on matters and programs related to Occupational Safety and Health (ISO45001), Environment (ISO14001), Energy (ISO50001). (70:30)ii. Act as a Safety Officer 3, Accredited Pollution Control Officer and the Energy Officer (for certification) of CAV3 Site. OIC on PDC Site for the first 1.5 years.iii. Provide support on real estate or plant facilities management including housekeeping, building upkeep, maintenance and repairs, small/big facilities projects (30:70)iv. Indirectly supervising clinic and security operationsv. Took on the lead role on SE Cavite Safety Culture Survey Actions for the year 2023. Involved in the planning, execution as well as reporting to regional management team on the progress of the project.vi. Involved in the Global deployment of the Global EHS Directive Hazardous Substances Management. Created the training slides and discussing Module 6: Environmental/Chemical Disposal to global webinar participants.vii. Involved in the program implementation of existing good practices (re-vamping) as well as devising of new programs that are realistic, scalable to SE sites that are cost effective. Programs supported are i.e.: Zero Tolerance Policy, Incident Reporting and Investigation, Contractors Safety Program, etc.viii. Incident management not limited to investigation, 8D approach, 5Whys, Fishbone, root cause identification (unsafe act, unsafe condition), short and long term actions, monitoring and closure.ix. Leads SERE Standardizations/SERE Code of Practices on Occupational Safety and Health across Cavite cluster especially in CAV3. Drive other internal KPIs on Waste Monetization, Biodiversity, Sustainability and Circular Economy.x. Managed SERE Aide for CAV3 (1pax) as well as all Waste Management Specialists (WMS) (5pax) during my first 5 months in the company, taking the lead on Waste and Scrap Management Program of SE Cavite-wide.

i. Implements programs related to Health and Safety such as the following: Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and Controls (HIRAC), Management of Change (MOC), Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Safety, Emergency Preparedness and Response, legal compliances to DOLE, PEZA, BFP, etc;ii. Ensures compliance of programs related to Environment Protection: Philippine EIS (PD 1856), Solid Waste Management (RA 9003), Toxic Substances and Hazardous Waste Management (RA 6969), Clean Water Act (RA 9275) and Clean Air Act (RA 8749) and other legal compliances to DENR, LLDA, CENRO, etc;iii. Acts as secretariat and internal head auditor of the Integrated QEHS Management Systems ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015. Act as internal auditor of ISO9001:2015;iv. Guides the technical working group during the planning stage of a construction, relocation or expansion project and evaluates technical specifications in compliance to Occupational Health and Safety Standards of 1987 and other existing laws such as the Fire Code of the Philippines ( R.A. 9514 or the ), the Building Code of the Philippines (R.A. 6541) and other applicable laws related.v. Investigates accidents especially those that are critical to life and process using the 8D approach (5M1E or fishbone and 5Why's analysis) in order to determine root cause/s of problems and implement appropriate corrective actions considering cost implicationsvi. Creates and provides required trainings that include but not limited to Basic EHS Training, Hazards Communication Training, High-risk Process EHS Trainings* and Emergency Response Training such as Fire Safety, Spill Containment, General Evacuation, proper wearing and use of Personal Protective Equipment and other EHS equipment during normal operations and abnormal/emergency situations;vii. Timely submission of reports to Essilor Headquarters via our Gensuite EHS Software, maintain SDS using 3E Online Website, submit reports to applicable Local Regulatory Agencies

General Health and Safetyi. Implement and promote programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environmentii. Identify hazards at the working area, implement corrective action, evaluate and improve effectiveness of countermeasureiii. Ensures project contractor's compliance for activities involving working on heights, heavy-lifting equipment, live electricity, hotworks, confined space entry and hazardous chemicals.ix. Qualify machines prior mass production through the use of Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC).x. Ensures compliance of machines to OHS standards, specifically on working environment measurement, ergonomics, machine guarding, electrical safety and hazardous chemicals.xi. Prepare and submit legal reports and requirementsxii. Attends to health and safety internal, external and customer auditsEmergency Preparedness and Response (EPR)i. Handles EPR concerns, involving responses before, during and after emergenciesii. Monitor competency of ERT members and provide trainings to maintain/develop their skillsiii. Conducts/monitors monthly safety device inspection and necessary tests(Quarterly Firehose Water Testing, Fire Extinguisher Hydrotesting, etc.)iv. Plan, prepare and conduct evacuation drills.v. Monitors the Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS) and troubleshoots hardware-related issues and basic software issues (Brand: Simplex 4100U).

Attend to the needs of the Lean Six Sigma Officer/Marketing Head for Ecolab's Water Business. Performed tasks were preparation of necessary documents, training materials and implementation of 5S at the work place. Attended trainings about company products for its water and hygiene business, Lean and Six Sigma such as 5S and DMAIC. This opportunity also engaged me to experience actual scenario in a water treatment plant. I witnessed how different water filtration system works on an industrial level and how chemicals play important role in a water treatment.
