Responsible for purchasing dept. for Car components (BMW Plant Araquari) and Motorcycle components (BMW Plant Manaus).

Responsible for the main local suppliers, commodities under my responsibility are powertrain and E/E-wiring harnesses, supplier coordination and leading quality programs inside supplier site in order to achieve premium delivery quality, activities since industrialization, requalification until the EOP at the supplier facility.

As QMT at Supplier Quality Management dept., I am responsible to ensure the parts quality from suppliers, handling and treating the production complaints, in generally responsible for maintaining smooth operations at our assembly, avoiding downtime or disruption to the customer.Adept to identify and solve problems from supplier process using tools as 8D, 5 Why’s, Ishikawa, FTA, etc. Treating and tracking issues for electric and electronic components. Communication and managerial treats between supplier and our facility is one of my tasks.Responsible to manage the complaint reports for electric and electronic components, PPM record, charge all costs related to the non-conformity and 8D evaluation. Reporting the treats status to departments involved at the Problem Management Process with managers and board of directors depending of the gravity.Responsible for reports and classification of the problems, escalation and preventive actions to avoid parts epidemics.Team of the electric and electronic localization process, source investigation/evaluation and follow the development steps before and after the process series.

A Supplier Quality Engineer is generally responsible for maintaining smooth operations at a materials supplier. They are usually adept at identifying and solving problems and possess solid communication and managerial skills. Supplier Quality Engineers are responsible for investigating, analyzing and correcting problems in quality, production and control at a supplier location. They may also perform audits and implement new strategies.
