I am working on the EarthShape project, a Chilean-german initiative exploring the boundaries of life at depths below the ground. My main task is to generate RadioMagnetotellurics (RMT) models that can delimitate weathering zones and map possible fluids sources or interconnected systems.

In the Framework of the GIAME project (Integrated Geoscience of the Mérida Andes, spanish Acronym), In early 2015, I lead the acquisition of two Magnetotelluric profiles accross the Venezuelan Andes. Following all steps in data acquisition, quality control and administrative aspect of the project.From late 2016 I have been working on time series processing using the tools available in the software pool from GFZ - Potsdam, data analysis (dimensionality and directionality) 2D and 3D modelling and inversion, employing MARE2DEM and ModEM inversion codes.

Managing and coordination of an acquisition campaign of Magnetotelluric (MT) data in the Mérida Andes, Venezuela. Main task included forward modelling of MT responses, locations scouting, and quality control of the data. This work was developed in the framework of the Integrated Geoscience of the Mérida Andes Project (GIAME, for the Spanish Acronym) which consisted of two profiles of 270 Km and 160 Km.Support in logistics and acquisition of gravity data, Western Venezuela. Visits to GFZ - Potsdam, Germany, to have experience on MT data acquisition and survey planning, as well as data processing and quality control.

MT data processing of the acquired data from a field campaign undergone in the Venezuelan Andes between March and April 2015 for the GIAME project, employing GFZ developed algorithms and software.

Project IÑAU-2DQuality control of seismic data on a land 2D seismic project. Support on infield logistics regarding to the recording process and field QC activities in general.

Developing of hands on experience on planning field campaign data acquisition, data modelling and processing of Magnetotelluric (MT) data, employing commercial and GFZ developed software.All this within the framework of the Integrated Geoscience of the Mérida Andes project (GIAME, for the Spanish acronym).

Projects Barinas Este 11G-3D and Paéz Mingo 11G-3D Quality control of the seismic data acquired on field, working on the doghouse using the qc-pro tools with a Sercel-428 equipment. As well as, quality control of other steps in the seismic projects as topography and drilling using Mesa software and supervising group of workers. Write technical reports and participate on daily meetings with the client.

Research project titled “Analysis and Interpretation of MT data at Byro Sub-basin (Western Australia)”. Use of different freely available softwares to generate models and interpretate MT data. Development of 2D and 3D MT models to identify geological features.

Projects Cariña Este and Oeste 09G-3DQuality control in a 3D seismic project including support and planning in topography first steps and displacement of offsets, drilling, and acquisition of seismic data. Elaboration of technical reports and oral presentations.

• Participation and logistic support in 4 depth seismic refraction campaigns using REFTEK 125-A seismograph, including programming and installation of the equipment• Acquisition and processing of surface seismic refraction data, planning and logistic support in acquisition and processing of environmental noise data to determine fundamental period of soils• Participation, logistic support and acquisition of gravimetric and topographic data. • Processing, quality control and statistic analysis of gravimetric and GPS data, 2D and 3D gravimetric modeling.
