TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) is a part of Microsoft Philanthropies and helps high schools build sustainable computer science programs by pairing trained computer science professionals - from across the tech industry - with classroom teachers to team-teach computer science in high schools throughout the US. Over the course of 2 years, the classroom teacher gradually takes over the responsibilities of teaching the course. TEALS volunteers and partner teachers create a ripple effect, impacting the students they teach, and the many students who will study CS in the future.In my role as Regional Manager for the Pacific Northwest, I work to recruit, train, and support tech industry volunteers to team-teach CS classes in area high schools that wouldn't otherwise be able to offer those classes. I also work to support and build on our growing network of partner schools and districts, with the ultimate goal being to give students throughout the country access to high quality computer science education.

Lead executive coordinator and communicator of company vision and goals among software engineering teams that presently include Software Development, Quality Assurance and Project Management / Program Management. The deliverable of the Software Engineering team is the corporate and consumer Seamless site, the Mobile Web site and the Native Apps for iphone, and android, and the ipad and the android tablets.
