Cross-cut three programs (Center for the Science of Science and Innovation Policy (CSSIP), International Development Evaluation and Research (IDER), and Education) to provide technical capacity for project management, data acquisition, data management, and data analysis. Project highlights include: - Managed and prepared timely contract deliverables for a Management Information System in Zambia, which will ensure the smooth operation of a cash transfer program for over 190,000 beneficiaries.- Implemented and assisted in designing data normalization standards of MySQL database of employees, grant award, and vendor information of 15 universities spanning ten years. The normalization standards supported the development of nationally distributed reports on science funding.- Procured publications data from disparate database sources using Python, Webkit, and SQLite for 3,000 researchers; linked those researchers to publications to model skills and knowledge for future business development opportunities.

Start Co. has set out to build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Greater Memphis Area by operating mentor based accelerator programs. I joined the effort as an academic intern during the Fall 2013 semester. My responsibilities includes: budgeting for accelerator programs of 50-100 entrepreneurs, tracking the performance of the portfolio of companies in Start Co. has invested, providing feedback on investor pitches, and assisting with planning a range of events.
