While working towards my MBA, I led Global Logistics and Distribution for a ~$1B annual revenue multi-national industrial manufacturer, specializing in test and measurement equipment. The Global Logistics network included three manufacturing plants, 27-service centers, and six international third-party logistics warehouses in North America, EMEA, and the Asia-Pacific region. Responsibilities included strategy development and operational execution for all regions and all modes of transportation (Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Parcel, Less-Than Truckload, Full Truckload) across both our sales and service business units. During this time, I led cross-functional teams – in various geographic locations - and managed a multi-million dollar budget that supported imports and exports to customers in over 90+ countries.Despite historic market conditions, our team made notable contributions to the network that improved operational efficiency, reduced lead times and mitigated numerous supply chain risks. The team was subsequently recognized by Fortive Corporation as the Best Global Supply Chain Team and Best Logistics Team across 15+ operating companies.

Following my time as a Logistics Officer, I was meritoriously selected to serve as an African Regional Affairs Officer, and subsequently spent several years advising senior leaders in Africa, South America and Eastern Europe. During this time, I analyzed strategic-level planning documents on behalf of the US Department of Defense, conducted gap analyses for country-specific agreements, and developed 3-to-5-year engagement plans for US investment in foreign military capabilities.
