As the CTO at Quiet, I primarily led the Data Ops team, overseeing a Data Engineer with whom I collaborated to create the company's data pipeline.This pipeline ensures the transfer of a significant volume of data from various third-party APIs such as Adjust, AppsFlyer, and Applovin, as well as from Cloud Storage buckets and sent to multiple BigQuery instances.The solution we developed includes several Python Cloud Functions, an instance of the open-source ELT tool Airbyte (hosted on a Kubernetes cluster), and SQL scripts orchestrated by Dataform. Through optimization of the data model, including partitioning and clustering, we could ingest and process analytical and advertising data from 30+ mobile games and applications, totaling 5M+ monthly active users.Once the data is ingested and processed, it is analyzed through Looker Studio dashboards we created to address the business needs of various teams, with a focus on user acquisition and monetization. Finally, we developed an in-house alerting system to notify teams via Slack in case of anomalies, ensuring continuous monitoring of our apps and marketing campaign performance.
