Scientific Lead for “Development and testing of policy benchmarks for universal parenting support policies” Project

• Provide guidance and advice to WBG Tasks Teams and governments on: (1) designing, strengthening and implementing operations to mitigate VAC, (2) Supporting teams to understand and design quality early childhood programs to that engage parents and communities, and (3) designing and implementing national or regional policies, plans, programs or strategies to mitigate VAC• Provide advice on a global strategy to expand and improve investments by the WB to address trauma and stress• Lead a note providing an overview of the existing evidence on what works, the gaps and guidance to WB teams on implementing effective programs. This note will inform the work program overall and will be used to provide guidance to WB teams.• Prepare tools for country teams and clients that could also be used as global public goods (or inputs to broader collaborations). This could include a set of core messages to share with parents on playful parenting and non-violent parenting and a toolbox that supports positive coping strategies. • 1-2 workshops on VAC for World Bank staff and policymakers
