Executive who has spent over 40 years in the fields of commodities, international trade and trade finance, holding posts in government and academia, as well as the private sector.Currently, Jim serves as the President and CEO for VVC Resources, a publicly traded mining and exploration company on the TSX Venture Exchange and the OTCQB. He is also the co-founder of Analog Gold, a mining investment company offering investors exposure to relatively low risk physical gold projects with potential for substantial returns.Prior to joining VVC, Jim served as CEO of TPG Commercial Finance, LLC and VP of Commodity Trading and Finance at Merrill Lynch. Jim served for five years on the staff of the Committee on Agriculture of the U.S. House of Representatives, the last three years as Chief Economist.Jim earned his BS at the University of Tennessee Martin and MS and PhD degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He served in the US Navy and US Navy Reserves.
