Facility Maintenance. Sales. Service. Customer ServiceI had MANY roles with Hendrick. Started out in sales for about 2 years before I got full custody of my son. In the short time of sales, i was awarded with the salesman of the month several times.I was then offered the Inventory Managers position which included new and used car inventory and also keeping the parking lot neatly displayed for sales.After about 3 years of doing this, I was offered the Facilities Maintenance Managers position. This position was ultimately responsible for all and any maintenance that was needed throughout the facility. Perform light maintenance duties such as plumbing, lighting, clean-up, painting, and related activities. Duties include changing light bulbs/ballasts, fixing toilets and leaks, patching and painting, light cleaning, light grounds maintenance, minor electrical, pneumatic repairs and new lines, A/C preventative maintenance, shop equipment repairs, preventative maintenance and emergency fixes as needed,minor construction, furniture moving, etc.Support outside contractors/vendors (vending service, custodial, lawn service, HVAC, maintenance, generator, fire alarm system, security) when performing work at facility. Assist in implementing and maintaining the Preventative Maintenance Program. Conduct daily building inspections and ensure all required building inspections are completed. Assist in security for building occupants and property. Maintain proper control of materials and supplies.Some of my biggest accomplishments with Hendrick included working with city and state officials to control and ultimately fix the “famous” sinkhole.I was able to convince city and state officials to install flumes to redirect the water off of Hwy 70 to prevent any future flooding.Another major accomplishment was the remodel and update to the whole facility. Having the inside and outside of the facility completely updated and freshly painted.Lastly is the Service expansion project. This consist of working with Hendrick Corp officials to help design the shop and supply the shop with equipment for the new service expansion and car wash.Forklift operator
