Current• Conduct surveillance and optimization of oil-producing wells in Castilla Field (heavy oil field with over 100k Bopd) through daily production testing and trend analysis, identifying opportunities for operational improvement and cost reduction. • Monitor wells associated with secondary recovery (waterflooding) through participation in meetings with subsurface and waterflooding engineering teams to follow up on the injection patterns and analyze trends in producer and injector wells to… Show more • Conduct surveillance and optimization of oil-producing wells in Castilla Field (heavy oil field with over 100k Bopd) through daily production testing and trend analysis, identifying opportunities for operational improvement and cost reduction. • Monitor wells associated with secondary recovery (waterflooding) through participation in meetings with subsurface and waterflooding engineering teams to follow up on the injection patterns and analyze trends in producer and injector wells to ensure optimal performance. • Analyze the performance of electric submersible pumps (ESP) installed in wells through monitoring operational parameters and trend graphs. Diagnose failures and prepare justifications for pump replacements. Analyze efficiencies and energy consumption. • Participate in well selection meetings to identify candidates for workover with multidisciplinary teams to increase field production and add reserves. • Optimize information query through analytical tools such as Power BI, Python (using different libraries) and SQL. • Develop weekly schedules for well tests and review sonologs for wells without downhole sensor data.
