Established Creative Services department consisting of an AVID edit bay, a field production unit, internet design services and print design. I was responsible for 4 team members, scheduled all projects and was primary contact for all clients. In addition to management responsibilities, I was also engaged in research and development of new products and processes for production. In this role I pioneered a new revenue stream for the company with a process called Online Video Presentation.

In the position of Director of Virtual Studios I was responsible for all operations involving the virtual technologies. This included all aspects from design to direction.My first role was as a primary member of the creative staff involved in graphic and set design. As a principle on the production staff I was responsible for the overall operational readiness of the Virtual Studio. I functioned as a technical director for productions that already had directorial staff in place. My services as a producer and director were also tasked when clients had the need.Primarily a support endeavor for the internet services of our parent company, ByeByeNow.com, ByeByeNow Productions was also independently contracted to provide production services to outside clients.

As Vice President of Operations, I was responsible for a wide range of creative and operational endeavors. Primarily, my focus was on operational readiness. I maintained the integrity and functionality of the systems. This involved direct maintenance of the hardware and software systems as well as directing and supervising contract maintenance efforts.During pre-production I functioned as Creative Director and Producer; interfacing client driven creative services when present, or overtaking those responsibilities directly when needed. In production, I provided Technical Direction to the client to facilitate a smooth operation with the Virtual Technologies. This flowed into post-production where my skills were applied to the final processing and completion of the project.

As an application specialist in I was fluent in several software applications offered by the company. These included FLAME, FLINT, FROST, & VAPOUR.My primary focus was on the demonstration, application, and development of the broadcast graphics and virtual set products, FROST & VAPOUR. In this capacity I was responsible for sales support worldwide. I traveled to over 20 countries and 50 cities in the role. My secondary duties were to assist clients with installation and initial operations training, as well as follow on support. Many of the first virtual productions in many of the client sites were a direct result of my involvement. Finally I maintained an ongoing dialog with the R & D teams in Montreal. Periodic information exchanges were required to refine the development of the products as I received new and valuable feedback from clients in production. The second-generation products from Discreet have direct ties to my development input.

Maintained interface for post-production team and graphics team. This included assisting graphics team in final preparation of graphic elements for post.In this position I worked on Alias, Wavefront, Quantel, and Adobe systems in order to complete operations and move them to post.

Handled video production / post production of local advertising and promotion

Worked with Air Force film documentation and editing teams during yearlong internship. Duties included documenting flight-testing events and accident recovery.In this position I used a wide variety of film and video production equipment ranging from super high speed 16mm film cameras, to 120mm still photography. I was also responsible for postproduction of a weekly video brief of all ongoing programs and events for the Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon.
