In my current role as an Engineering Mentor at the L3Harris Student Design Center, I assist students in navigating the design and manufacturing process, helping them identify the best tools and techniques to complete their projects efficiently. I guide them through the facility, ensuring they know how to find and use the appropriate equipment safely and effectively. My role involves providing hands-on instruction with advanced manufacturing machines, such as CO2 laser cutters, waterjets, and 3D printers, ensuring students achieve optimal results without risking damage to the equipment or injury to themselves.
