I am a third-year student at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, majoring in Finance and Corporate Innovation. I have a passion for solving problems, personal growth, and making a positive impact on my community. I have demonstrated these strengths through a variety of different positions, beginning in high school I was named a team captain for my basketball team. In this position I learned how to lead my teammates to get the best result possible, it also taught me how leadership is not one size fits all. While going to school I also started my own business by buying and reselling sports memorabilia. Through doing this, I learned how to maximize the retail value of each item. Now at Indiana University, I continue to find new opportunities to grow my knowledge of the business world. I am enrolling in honors courses and joining many student organizations. As a Mental Health Chair for Alpha Kappa Lambda, I am actively looking to help reduce stress throughout the organization. I work to give those who feel marginalized throughout the fraternity a voice so they can feel heard. Additionally, through Net Impact: Sustainable Business Club I am working with prisons to implement a new refinement system to decrease recidivism rates. I have been trying to make a positive impact on my community while also expanding my knowledge.I hope to take up more leadership roles in the future. I plan to run for Alpha Kappa Lambda’s executive board to help my fraternity improve. To continue developing my skills of leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration, I look forward to pursuing internships within the capital markets realm of the finance industry. Ultimately, I see myself pursuing a career in the capital markets industry and look forward to my personal growth throughout the next few years.
