Over 4 years (absent during 1L) I worked in and overlooked the pre-suit department, including client in-take, opening new files and building a client database; data mining; conducted legal research; prepared legal documents including drafting demand letters, complaints, requesting/responding to discovery requests, and other documents; aided attorneys in researching clients and case matters; and assisted attorneys in multiple phases of litigation. The Patino Law Firm focuses on personal injury, insurance claims, and PIP suits.

President presides over all Executive Board and general body meetings; appoints special committees with the approval of the Executive Board; coordinates the work of board members; assists other board members; channels issues to the Executive Board and committees for consideration; and serves as the liaison between administration and the Executive Board.As President, with the help of my team, I was fortunate enough to set up lunch and learn speaking engagements with Miami Dolphins Senior Director of Legal & Governmental Affairs Marcus Bach-Armas, Entertainment Attorney and NIL pioneer Darren Heitner, Entertainment Attorney Pierre Hachar Jr., as well as a Florida Panthers game with a pre-game sit down with Florida Panthers Associate GC Chris Perez. Additionally, I was able to coordinate a Miami Dolphins game outing with over 75 tickets sold and Miami Heat game with 50+ tickets sold.

During my time with Goal Line Football I was responsible for assisting in many of the daily operations; compiling recruiting documents and/or presentations, preparing profiles for current clients both player and personnel, as well as documenting draft needs by team in respects to our clients in the upcoming NFL Draft. Other responsibilities included statistic research for prospective clients, monitoring all player and personnel transactions through the off-season, and scheduling events such as our Annual Coaches Career Development seminar. I worked closely with and under the supervision of Brian Levy, CEO of Goal Line Football and NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor, Steven Feld, Director of Marketing, and Joseph Behar, NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor, where had the tremendous opportunity to take part in and learn so much about this industry in such a ‘hands on’ fashion. My supervisors were extremely insightful and helped me understand far beyond the surface of this industry.

Mo Steel Football is an elite youth Flag-Football program, that competes for multiple National Championships every year. Since 1999, Mo Steel has been recognized around the United States as one of the premier Flag-Football programs, having won the NFL National Championships 8 times, as well as representing the USA at World Championships with 2 victories. As a former player, I won NFL Nationals 1 time among many other National Championships. As a coach, I am responsible for coaching several teams, including a 9U, 10U, and two 12U teams, scheduling and running practices, as well as logistics involved in scheduling tournaments and traveling related to non-local competitions. We have multiple practices weekly, and compete in numerous tournaments both locally and outside of Florida each year. Outside of competition, other responsibilities including setting up and participating in fundraiser events to support scholarship players and other expenses, budgeting expenses for the season including uniforms, equipment, and traveling costs such as meals, hotel, and flights.

Over a couple summers, I was an Intern working at the Downtown Miami Office of Peckar & Ambramson. I was working as a secretary assistant, as well as assisting lawyers and paralegals coding legal and court documents. My daily work consisted of managing all of the offices demands as far as sending out faxes, copies, subpoenas, etc. I set up conferences, as well as identifying loads of legal documents, personalizing them per attorney, by corresponding case, and then filing the following data into the database worksheets on the office serves. I also prepared and coded files for arbitration and depositions.

I worked as a coach for both football and basketball for the young kids at the Michael Ann Russell Jewish Community Center of North Miami Beach, FL. I helped younger kids develop skills in each sport, and coached my own teams for the kids that were older. In my first year, I coached my football team to the Championship, but we fell short in Overtime.

During the summer that I worked for Boucher Brothers, I worked as a beach attendant/ beach boy. I would set up chairs, cabanas, umbrellas, and anything else that residents or guests of the hotel would need. If water activities were part of their schedule, I would sign them up to do so. I would also rely orders to the waiters and chefs in the kitchen.
