Fill in for absent employees throughout the Lumber Mill from maintaining the production line at the sawmill to quality control at the planer mill. Operating equipment to load/unload trucks. Updating weekly consumable reports and assisting in monthly inventory. Handle Shipping Clerk duties while the current Shipping Clerk is out of the office. Member of the Interfor Safety Committee to ensure proper LOTO procedures are met as the mill continues to operate in a safe manner and according to OSHA standards. Work with the Employee Engagement Committee recognizing and rewarding employees while also promoting the mill in a positive way in order to benefit our community.

Inspect equipment prior to leaving the plant for quality assurance, and maintain quality control inspection sheets for each piece of material used to make our equipment. Follow up and ensure any Quality Control Incident Reports (QCIR) are properly investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
