In Chen's Lab group, I worked with the synthesis of polyurethane 3D printed scafolds in order to research a new platform for STEM cell culture and regenerative medicine.>Used a 3D Stereolithography printer to polymerize the material in specific shapes which allowed for optimal or biological cell growth.> Conducted bench work with 10T 1/2 cells implementing all cellular biology techniques for cell culture such as: use of pipette, aliquoting, manage cells to maximize viability, and use of sterile technique. >Wrote a mcaro using ImageJ software in order to analyze cell viability in an automated fashion which decreased our analysis time and increased analysis efficiency. >Presented the research at UCSD's Undergraduate Research Symposium.
