Jonathan D. Cordero is an experienced executive and investor with over 14 years of leadership in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and general management across heavy industry and natural resources. As the CEO of Saudi Gold Refinery, he leads the company’s operations in one of the world’s most dynamic mining regions, navigating the complexities of Saudi Arabia’s emerging regulatory landscape while ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth. Previously, Jonathan was the Head of Corporate Development at Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), where he managed global ventures, strategic initiatives, and significant transactions, with a particular focus on growth in the MENA region. He has also served on the boards of Africo Resources and other companies, contributing to governance and decision-making during periods of strategic change. Jonathan is a co-founder of Caesar Ventures, a seed-stage investment firm that supports startups in clean energy, the circular economy, and digital transformation. He brings a strong background in corporate finance, valuation, and business modeling, combined with a pragmatic approach to leadership.
